Hi everyone! My name is Kiat and I’m from Manchester in England. You may call me Teacher Kiat.
私は経験豊富な EFL/ESL 指導者で、日本の高校生に 4 年間、香港の幼稚園と小学生に 19 年間教えてきました。初心者から上級者まで、あらゆるレベルの生徒に教えてきました。 I am an experienced EFL/ESL educator, having taught senior high school students in Japan for 4 years and kindergarten and elementary students in Hong Kong for 19 years. I have taught students of all abilities, from beginners to advanced.
私の専門は、小学生にフォニックス、スピーキング、リスニング、リーディング、ライティングを教えることです。私にとって、教えることは情熱であり、責任でもあります。私の知識を生徒と共有することで充実感が得られるので、対面でもオンラインでも英語を教えることを楽しんでいます。 My speciality is teaching phonics, speaking, listening, reading and writing to elementary students. For me, teaching is a passion and a responsibility. I enjoy teaching English, both face-to-face and online, because sharing my knowledge with my students gives me a sense of fulfillment.
私は常に、レッスンが魅力的で理解しやすいものであることを確認し、楽しいアクティビティを含めることで、生徒が楽しく快適に過ごせるように常に努めています。最初のレッスンで、私が忍耐強い講師だとお分かりいただけると思います！私が目指しているのは、まず生徒さんの信頼を得ること、そしてその生徒さんが学習目標に向かってさらに一歩ずつ前進できるようにすることです。
I always make sure that my lessons are engaging and easy to follow and I always try to make my students feel comfortable by including some fun activities. From the very first lesson with me, students will find that I am a teacher who has lots of patience. My objective is to first gain my students’ trust then help them move a step further towards their learning goals.
自由な時間には、歌ったり、運動したり、サッカーをしたりしています。自然の写真を撮ったり、夜空を見たりするのも好きです。
During my free time I enjoy singing, exercising and playing football. I also enjoy taking photos of nature and viewing the night sky.
